  • Health Insurance
  • Long-Term Care Insurance
  • Veteran’s Benefits

Each third-party payor has its own qualifications and guidelines. Let us help. If you may have a need for in-home support or medical home health, contact us now. We will help you determine if you have available insurance coverage or benefits.

Personal Care

With an individualized service plan developed by a registered nurse, we send aides to the homes of clients to provide support with health-related housekeeping and activities of daily living. This may include:

  • Light meal preparation
  • Assistance dressing
  • Assistance grooming
  • Assistance with getting up and walking
  • Making the bed
  • Laundry
  • Assistance getting in and out of the shower
  • and other normal activities

Under the residential service agency program, all services are routinely supervised by a registered nurse, and your service plan is regularly re-assessed by a nurse to provide added assurance that the care you receive is of the highest caliber and completely suited to your current needs.

From our office in Calverton, Maryland, we send skilled nurses (RNs and LPNs) to the homes of clients. We collaborate with your doctor(s) and work under their orders to promote continuity of care.

Medication Management

Excel will send nurses to the homes of clients to assist with many types of medication management. This may simply be training in how to take and manage meds recently prescribed by your doctor. Or it could be weekly visits to set up pill boxes.

Excel can send nurses for in-home B12 injections and other regular injection, or even to help with the administration of home infusion meds.

Chronic Disease Management

Many retirees are challenged by the management of important chronic diseases such as diabetes, COPD, heart failure, other cardiovascular diseases, Parkinson’s, organ failure, and more.
Excel nurses, aides, and certified medication techs are highly experienced in the healthcare challenges of patients over the age of 65.
Through thorough assessment and repeated, convenient visits to your home, our healthcare professionals ensure that individual seniors and their families are fully capable of safely and effectively managing chronic disease at home.

Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care

We work with you to establish safe and more comfortable environments, trusting relationships and techniques to maximize independence for as long as possible for those with Alzheimer’s disease and with dementia.
Our specialized approach of family support, skilled training, personal care, and caring patience helps family members cope with the challenges of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia illnesses.

Post-Surgical Care

After any surgery, patients are typically sent home with unhealed wounds, medications, and a compromised ability to perform normal activities of daily living. Excel Healthcare Services provides the wound care, skilled observation, and human assistance needed to ensure optimal recovery from surgery while patients are safe and comfortable at home.

Live-In Caregivers

In addition to sending caregivers to work for hours each day or week, Excel Healthcare Services can also assign a live-in personal care aide for clients. A live-in caregiver will be available to provide personal care morning, noon, and night.

Available 24 / 7

Excel Healthcare Services keeps qualified staff members on-call for our clients 24 hours per day, seven days per week, every day of the year. Should our clients experience an urgent health concern or a sudden need for assistance, Excel will help make sure those needs are met in the most beneficial way possible. Whether that is simply answering important questions, sending a nurse to the home, or calling an ambulance for our client and preparing the emergency department for our client’s arrival. This layer of protection not only provide important peace of mind for our clients, it prevents costly emergency department visits when those visits may have been unnecessary.
